The Dane County Farmers Market is a year-round market selling bedding plants, cheese, fruits, vegetables, honey, bakery, etc. (selection varies with the season). You can expect at least 160 vendors on a typical Saturday. The Wednesday Market features about 40 vendors with great products convenient to your workplace.
*New for 2017: The Madison Night Market will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on May 11, June 8 and July 13 (second Thursday of the months) along Gilman Street from University Avenue to the Buckeye parking lot just north of State Street. Vendors are expected to include homemade products, local art, artisan gifts, prepackaged foods and fresh produce. The event also includes live music, giant board games, special visiting food carts and pop-up restaurant experiences.
After the outdoor season, the market moves inside, to Monona Terrace and then to Madison Senior Center.
