Modify eWarrent form fields with an iScript

This is a manual process. It presently is designed to modify

The script (Z_FixEWarrantFormData.js) must be manually edited for the desired change and an eWarrant routed to a specific workflow queue (workflow A_GRAD workflow, queue GRAD PropChange DoNotDelete) on which the script is applied as an Inbound Action. The changes will be saved to the eWarrant when the eWarrant is routed to the queue. The eWarrant must then be manually routed to a subsequent queue.

The process

  1. Request one of these two changes
    1. Student Name Change - If a student wants the name on their Warrant modified from the name in SIS that is automatically put on the Warrant when the GradApp URL link is created, the Coordinator needs to notify the Grad School before the Grad School takes any action on the eWarrants in the first queue of the eWarrant process; go to step 2
    2. Coordinator Malformed email address - If the Coordinator notices that the Coordinator's email address is malformed, they should notify the Grad School before the warrant process gets to the Email queue in the workflow or the email cannot be successfully sent; the Grad School might also notice the malformed email; go to step 2
  2. The Grad School must then use the Imaging Service Work Request
    1. Work Request URL: https://imagingwebforms.wiscweb.wisc.edu/ecms-home/ecms-new-work-request/
    2. Submit
      1. Sufficient information so that the correct warrant can be found/identified precisely
        1. Student name
        2. Requestor
        3. Date submitted
      2. The desired changes (e.g., adding "-Muñoz" to the lastname or changing firstname/middlename to initials; both of which have happened in the past six months); or correct Coordinator email address
  3. The script is modified with the information provided in the previous step
  4. The warrant is routed to the GRAD PropChange DoNotDelte queue to have the changes applied
  5. The warrant will be routed to beginning of the eWarrant process
