    Admission is free. The award-winning Wisconsin Veterans Museum is dedicated to the citizen-soldiers of our state. It affirms, commemorates, and acknowledges the sacrifices of Wisconsin veterans in America's military actions--Civil War to present. Free. Special educational programs are held in the Education Center on a regular basis. Call (608) 264-7663 to schedule a group tour.

    Tour Options: All tours are FREE and last about one hour.

    1) Self-Guided Tours: Explore the museum at your own pace

    2) Guided Tours:  available to groups of 10-90 people. All guided tours are conducted by volunteer docents, many of which are veterans whose perspectives provide a unique visitor experience. Guided Tours must be reserved at least two weeks in advance.

    3) Subject-Specific Tours:  available to groups of 10-60. Specialty tours focus on the Civil War, STEM, or Arts & Humanities and must be requested in the reservation request.

    4) Scavenger Hunts:  Scavenger hunts booklets are available in grade-specific formats for K-12 and have a new STEM focus to enrich your students experience at the museum. Please print all scavenger hunt booklets for your students before your visit to the museum.
