Wendt Library is closed until October 2nd due to renovations. Wendt Commons is still open.
Floors 2, 3, and 4 will reopen on September 6th. Floor 1 (where the library is located) will reopen on October 2nd.
Through October 1st, materials have to be requested through the catalog and be picked up at another library.
Beginning October 2nd, collections will be available during open hours of the building with self-service checkout.
Pickup services and support from staff are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
You can continue to access librarians to answer your library research and patent questions by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by visiting Steenbock Library, where they have relocated for the summer. By request, collections are available through the catalog at www.library.wisc.edu (materials can be picked up at another campus library).

Collection focus: Primarily engineering disciplines, but includes many materials from other fields such as chemistry, physics, mathematics, statistics, atmospheric/oceanic sciences and computer sciences.
Special collections: U.S. patent collections, government documents, and technical reports.
Circulation eligibility: Available to anyone with a UW-Madison ID or annual borrowing card (issued by Memorial Library).

The library maintains all U.S. utility, design, and plant patents in various formats, and provides reference tools and searching assistance for both the general public and the UW-Madison community. The Patents and Trademarks Reference area is on the 3rd floor.
