PDC Services & Structure
PDC programs attract and recruit adult learners with varied needs and goals, operate to generate revenue similar to a business and adhere to specific policies and procedures, making them difficult and complex to run. DCS provides project management and coordination to help interpret and navigate these various guidelines and has created additional resources for program faculty and staff. All programs have access to the following:
- PDC Website
- PDC Community of Practice
- PDC Project Manager/Coordinator
- Market Research
- Webinar and Video Assistance
- Virtual Open House (VOH)
- Your Future. Your Way. Podcast
- PDC annual debrief and other reports
Programs can also opt in to additional services (some program funds may be required):
- Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) services
- Recruitment services
Level of Marketing & Recruitment Services
The level of marketing and recruitment services provided to programs varies based on PDC strategies and goals. Some programs are assigned a marketing account manager and enrollment coach and other programs receive ad hoc marketing and recruitment services. You can work with your project manager to determine the appropriate level of services for your program.
Generally speaking, if a program has PDC paid marketing support, PDC recruitment support is typically required to ensure coordinated efforts that maximize the investment. Programs can also provide funds to IMC to enhance PDC's paid marketing campaigns or develop paid media campaigns when PDC is not supporting program-specific paid marketing. In this case, PDC recruitment services are not required as long as the program has recruitment plans in place.
To ensure PDC and program efforts stay aligned, PDC programs are asked to:
- Share program updates with DCS when applicable (e.g., changes to application requirements for deadlines)
- Use an auto-response email (see Email Automation & Mass Texting section)
- Use Salesforce regularly (if given access)
