Process for UW Health employees to apply for a UW Accessible parking permit

Overview of the parking application process for UW Health employees who need an annual or temporary accessible parking permit.

Application process for annual and Flex accessible parking permits

  1. Assess your needs.

  2. Complete a Health Sciences parking request form.

  3. Apply online or in person.

    Apply online:

      1. Complete an application in the Permit Application System (PAS). You will need valid UW Health credentials to log in to PAS. Refer to the KnowledgeBase article Apply for parking - How to apply in the Permit Application System (PAS)
      2. Select UNIVERSITY CAMPUS ACCESSIBLE from the list of permit options in PAS.
      3. If you encounter difficulties in the Permit Application System, please contact the Health Sciences Unit Transportation Coordinator (UTC) at healthsciencesparking@mailplus.wisc.edu

    Apply in person:

Apply for and purchase a permit in person at a Transportation Services office with proof of a valid, state-issued disabled parking permit.

  4. Make temporary commuting arrangements (online applicants only). If you don't have a current parking assignment, a temporary commuting plan may be necessary while your application is being processed.

  5. Watch your email for a parking assignment (online applicants only).

  6. Purchase your permit in the eBusiness purchasing portal (online applicants only).

    • When you receive an offer, it will contain a link to the eBusiness purchasing portal. Log in to eBusiness with your UW Health credentials.
    • Refer to the KnowledgeBase article for purchase instructions: Parking and transportation - How to make a purchase in eBusiness.
    • When checking out, select your parking permit assignment from the list of options.
    • You can choose to pay in full by credit card or by payroll deduction (if eligible). Please note that payroll deductions are not refundable.

  7. Get your permit. Your purchase receipt will contain instructions on how to get your permit (online applicants only).
        • Depending on the time of year, permits may be mailed to the address listed in your eBusiness account. Or, you may be required to pick up your permit in person at a Transportation Services office. Your receipt will tell you what to do.

Temporary accessible permits and accessible moped permits are available for in-person purchases at a Transportation Services office location with proof of a valid, state-issued disabled permit (or physician's note for temporary permits).
