Campus Cybersecurity Training for Pharmacy Preceptors and Employees
All employees of the Universities of Wisconsin must complete annual cybersecurity awareness training. This includes preceptors in the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy's experiential learning program.
If you are a preceptor in the School of Pharmacy's experiential learning program, please follow these instructions to check on your cybersecurity training status especially if you have received a reminder notice in our Experiential Portal web applications.
To access the training, or to verify if it's available for you, please follow these steps.
- Go to https://my.wisc.edu in your browser. Log in with NetID credentials if asked.
- Look for the "Workday" tile and click it.
- This will open the UW-Madison version of Workday, which is where you will find the campus cybersecurity training materials.
- If your organization also uses Workday for HR management, the tile will not open that version. Please follow whatever instructions your organization gave you for opening its version of Workday for HR management. You will not find the UW-Madison campus cybersecurity training in your organization's Workday version.
- If it is time for you to complete your training, you should see instructions for it right away on the Workday landing page.
- You can also click here for more information about the new way cybersecurity training is being offered. Of particular interest will be the many FAQs at the bottom of that page.
If you have recently completed your cybersecurity awareness training, yet saw the reminder box, you can safely disregard it for now. Our records for this are updated weekly and it may be a few days before the reminder disappears until next time.
You can also follow the steps above at anytime to check if it's time to renew your training.
