Why UW? I chose UW Health because I saw a unique opportunity to join a strong network of pharmacy leaders and train alongside excellent clinical pharmacists who practice at the top of their license to provide remarkable care to patients. One aspect of UW Health that I think sets it apart from other academic medical centers is its hub-and-spoke drug distribution model that incorporates a plethora of innovative and cutting-edge technologies. During my two years of residency, I am excited to explore the potential of automation and new technologies in pharmacy operations, gain leadership and management skills, and refine my clinical skills through the projects, rotations, and staffing opportunities offered here. I cannot imagine a more supportive team than the one at UW Health to help me grow and become an exceptional pharmacy leader and practitioner. On, Wisconsin!
