Why UW? As an internal medicine resident, I was really looking for a program that offered a large breadth of different rotation experiences in addition to depth. Among the programs I looked into, UW offered the most elective rotations, allowing me to really tailor my experiences according to my professional interests and career goals. Some rotations are specifically geared towards developing your skills as a preceptor, and I am taking advantage of several opportunities to be involved with our School of Pharmacy. I was sold, however, during the interview. The pharmacists that I met were extremely friendly, welcoming, and would clearly be a great team to work with over the course of the residency year.
