Box Cloud Storage | Free cloud storage that helps UW-Madison faculty, staff and students store, access, and collaborate on files |
Clinical Research Toolkit | UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research Toolkit to assist investigators and research teams at various timepoints throughout a clinical research study |
Doodle Scheduling | Use Doodle (ad-free) to create a poll and let users vote for the best time for group meetings |
Ebling Library | Health sciences library that offers access to resources including 3,600 e‐journals, 3,700 e‐books and 100 databases |
EndNote Web Citation Manager | Users can use EndNote Web to collect, organize, format, and insert (into Microsoft Word) references/citations from literature databases, webpages, etc. Link provides instructions for creating a UW account. |
Institute for Clinical and Translational Research | Facilitates collaboration across campus, linking even the most basic research to practical improvements in human health |
Health Sciences IRB | The Health Sciences Institutional Review Boards Office is home to two of the three IRBs on campus, the Health Sciences IRB (HS-IRB) and the Minimal Risk IRB (MR-IRB) |
HIPAA Training | Annual training requirement which reflects UW-Madison’s commitment to compliance with laws protecting the privacy and security of patients and research subjects Protected Health Information |
Human Subjects Protections Training | Personnel conducting research involving human subjects approved by a UW-Madison IRB must complete human subjects protections (HSP) training every three years through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Program |

REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) | A largely self-service, secure, web-based application used for building and managing data collection forms. REDCap provides data management functionality by allowing the development of electronic instruments and surveys to support data capture for research studies. |
