OS Compatibility Testing - macOS 27 (Golden Gate)

This article will detail the results of DoIT's compatibility testing of macOS 27 (Golden Gate).

Testing Details

Testing was conducted using macOS 27.0 on a 2020 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro, a 2023 M2 Mac Mini, and a Mac VM. 

Recommendation

macOS 27 has finished initial compatibility testing and is currently NOT RECOMMENDED to be used. Upgrading is currently not allowed on DS managed systems. One major issue with critical management software Workspace ONE has been found and macOS 27 will remain not recommended until the issue is corrected by the vendor. Additionally, two minor issues have been found with the BigFix Self Service Application, and Bomgar Jump Client. See the individual sections for these applications for more details.
