Manifest - Manage SAML2 EntityIDs

If you are using Shibboleth for NetID login at UW-Madison, the SAML2 EntityID is the same as Shibboleth EntityID of your Shibboleth Service Provider (SP). For most Shibboleth sites at UW-Madison, this will be a URL of the form https://[fully-qualified-domain-name]/shibboleth, but you should verify the EntityID with the person responsible for the Service Provider or application.

Adding an EntityID

  1. Log into the Manifest service at https://manifest.services.wisc.edu
  2. Under Groups I Administer click 'Details' to the right of the group.
  3. Click on the More Actions button and select Edit delivery/connection options from the drop-down.
  4. Enter the the EntityID into the blank and click the + Add Entity button. The SAML2 EntityID will move to below.
  5. You can add additional SAML2 EntityIDs as needed. When finished click the Save button. The box will disappear and you will be notified your changes were saved.

Removing an EntityID

  1. Log into the Manifest service at https://manifest.services.wisc.edu
  2. Under Groups I Administer click 'Details' to the right of the group.
  3. Click on the More Actions button and select Edit delivery/connection options from the drop-down.
  4. Click Remove next to the EntityID you would like to remove.
  5. Click Save. The box will disappear and you will be notified your changes were saved.

Manifest Login Instances

  1. ITE
    • NOTE: ITE Manifest groups can only deliver data to ITE NetID Login
  2. Production
    • NOTE: Production Manifest groups can only deliver data to Production NetID Login
