Printing From and Scanning To a USB/Flash Drive
This document contains directions on how to print a document from a USB drive or scan a document to a USB/flash drive on one of the shared Russell copiers.
Audience

Overview
There are three Sharp Copiers in Russell Labs. These are located in:
- Room 218
- Room 436 (Herrling Lab)
These copiers can work with USB/flash drives.
Once you plug a USB drive into the copier, you can:
- Select a document from the USB drive and print it
- Use the copier to scan a document then save the resulting PDF to the USB drive.
Steps
- Plug in your USB drive. The USB port is located on the top right, front of copier.
- A screen appears stating:
"External memory device (USB) is connected."
Two buttons appear below it:
- Print from external memory device
- Scan to external memory device
- Press one of the two buttons, and follow the instructions.
