Relocating Vehicles for Home Football Games
Overview
During home football games, parking lots surrounding Russell Laboratories may be closed to accommodate event parking. Vehicles (including Department Vehicles) parked in affected lots must be temporarily relocated.
This process applies to both:

UW Fleet vehicles
-
U.S. Government vehicles
Affected Parking Lots
Vehicles assigned to the following lots must be relocated:

Lot 34
-
Lot 36
-
Lot 39
-
Lot 40
Relocation Timeline

Vehicles may be relocated beginning at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the Friday before a home football game.

Vehicles must be returned to their assigned parking lot by 10:00 a.m. on the following Monday.
Vehicle relocation is required for every home football game.
Approved Relocation Locations
Vehicles Assigned to Lot 40
Use one of the following locations:

Parallel park along Farm Place, the service drive between the Dairy Cattle Center and the south side of the U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center.

Park in one of the three bus stalls on Linden Drive in front of the Stock Pavilion (space available for up to six vehicles).
Do not:

Park outside the marked bus stalls on Linden Drive.

Block the pedestrian access on the west side of Lot 40.

Park at the Babcock Hall loading dock on Linden Drive.
Vehicles Assigned to Lot 39
Use one of the following locations:

Parallel park along Farm Place, the service drive between the Dairy Cattle Center and the south side of the U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center.

Park in unsigned stalls in Lot 40 located along Linden Drive.
Vehicles Assigned to Lots 34 or 36
Use one of the following locations:

Service stalls and the two mobile payment (metered) stalls in Lot 120 at the Animal Sciences loading dock, directly west of the Observatory Drive Ramp (Lot 36).

Parallel park along the service drive south of Lot 36. Keep the center drive lane clear and do not park on grass or landscaped areas.

Park in unsigned stalls in Lot 26.
Additional Information
Transportation Services typically distributes football parking notices before each home game. If relocation locations or procedures change, follow the instructions included in the most recent notification.
