Official Graduate School Application - all departments
If you wish to view the application materials submitted through the official Graduate School Application process you may do so through Applicant Review. You will need to navigate to files using the tabs near the top of the page.
If you do not have access or have questions about the materials please contact the Academic Advising Manager.
Timeline for Making an Offer
Please remember that there are a few steps that need to be completed before a formal written offer can be extended to a applicant these include: a formal graduate school application, fee, and minimum required materials (statement, resume/CV, unofficial transcripts, and letter of recommendation). I will need to process and assign applications to you before you can review them.
Once we have the appropriate materials the application will be submitted for review to the appropriate committee. Once the committee has given their blessing we can then begin a draft of our offer letter and make our recommendation of admission to the Graduate School and the Graduate School will solicit official transcripts. The offer of admission always comes from the Graduate School.
For summer and fall admits we must adhere to the Council of Graduate School's April 15th resolution, this means that candidates have until April 15th to accept or reject any funded summer or fall admission offer, you cannot pressure candidates to make a decision before this date.
Deadlines
In Plant Pathology we have a general application deadline of December 1st, but if you have a specific candidate you are interested in we do not need to adhere to the deadline. For Entomology and Forest & Wildlife Ecology the deadlines to consider include the SciMedGRS fellowship nomination deadline of February 1 (so that we can prepare a nomination by March 1) and the deadlines set by the Graduate School.
