Overview
There are a number of campus offices and units that are of benefit to graduate students, below is a listing of some that are of particular interest to incoming students
Identification Card
- WisCard - if you have not done so yet you must get your WisCard as soon as possible.
- Bus pass - as a part of the seg fees that you pay you have access to a bus pass through the Associated Students of Madison (ASM), in order to get the bus pass you must have activated your WisCard and be enrolled, the bus pass typically isn't available until a week before classes begin
Campus Resources.
- Graduate School orientation events - the Graduate School has a number of events designed to welcome all new graduate students to campus, check out their website for more information.
- Campus libraries - there are a large number of libraries available on campus and Steenbock Library is the CALS library, check out their website for information on how to get help from a librarian and their workshops.
- TAA - is the Teaching Assistants' Association and represents all graduate students in assistantship positions.
