InfoLab - Opening the InfoLab: checklist

Complete the following items if you work during the opening shift.

Contact the managers if you are running low on printer paper or toner.

Contact the managers if there are issues with any of the computers or printers

Turn on all lights

Wake up all of the computers (press the space bar, or similar)

Turn on the printers

Fill printer paper

There is a key hidden in cabinet #12 that will get you access to the cabinets and drawers in the InfoLab

Printer paper is located in the cupboards beneath the printers.

Check the Print Release workstation

Check Toner Levels

Refill stapler and tape as needed (additional supplies in locked cabinets underneath, and drawers behind desk)

Verify the door unlocked successfully at 8:00a

Push in chairs

Throw away any refuse left on the floor or around the workstations

Bring abandoned items to the AV Pool for Lost & Found processing

Alert the managers to anything else that may need attention (ex. floor needs vacuuming, or someone spilled food/beverage at a workstation, etc.)

Return the key to cabinet #12

Fill out your time sheet and submit (when appropriate).
