Fix the "Work or school account problem" Message in Windows Computers Managed by DiscoverIT

This article walks through the steps to solve the underlying issue causing Windows to say there is a "Work or school account problem."

Work or school error message

  1. Open settings

    Windows settings

  2. Select Accounts

    Select accounts
  3. Select Access Work or School

    Access work or school

  4. Expand the list for Morgridge.net and click the Info button

    Domain info

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Sync

    Click Sync near the bottom of the page

    You may be prompted to log in. If so, continue with the instructions below

  6. Enter your Discovery building account followed by "@morgridge.net"

    Microsoft login

  7. Enter your Discovery building account password

    Microsoft password

  8. If prompted approve the connection in DUO

    Approve in DUO
