Find and Use Your Cloud Accounts | Cloud Account Database

Use Account Overview for a quick summary and action items. Use Accounts to search, filter, export, open, and review the cloud accounts you are authorized to see.

Open the Cloud Account Database at accounts.cloud-services.wisc.edu and sign in with your netid@wisc.edu.

What You Can See

The accounts you can see are determined by several sources that are synchronized and updated daily. Your authorized accounts may come from:

  • Being the requestor, owner, technical, security, or financial contact.
  • Synced AWS IAM Identity Center or Manifest access.
  • Synced Azure RBAC access.
  • Direct or expanded Google group access in GCP IAM.

Account Overview summarizes the accounts connected to your identity.

Accounts Breakdown

Shows cloud providers and lifecycle statuses. Select a number to open the matching filtered Accounts result.

TODO

Appears only when action is needed. Owners may see missing or malformed contact roles that they can correct.

First Account

If you have no linked account and are eligible to submit, the page offers a shortcut to New Request.

Accounts Page

The Accounts page contains every account you are authorized to view. It opens with the Active status selected, but the snapshot also contains your pending, not provisioned, and closed accounts. Select All to show every status.

Default columns show Account, Login, Status, Avg Daily Adjusted Cost (30 Days), Identities, Contacts, and Flags. Use Customize Columns to add, remove, and rearagnge available fields.

Select an account name to open its details. Select Login for an active account to open the appropriate AWS, Azure, or GCP console in a new tab.

Columns, Saved Views, Sorting, and CSV

  • Sort: select a column heading to sort; select it again to reverse direction.
  • Customize Columns: search the available fields, select what to show, and drag rows to set table and CSV order.
  • Saved Views: save a useful combination of search, filters, columns, and sorting. Views are stored in your current browser, not in the app.
  • Download CSV: exports all authorized rows matching the active search and filters across every page, using the visible columns, column order, and sort.
  • Paging: results display 100 rows per page. Use Previous and Next for additional rows.

Account Details and Contact Maintenance

The detail page combines the account record, Finance FDM mapping, provider login, contacts, and any synced AWS, Azure, GCP, Manifest, or Google group access data available for the account. When Cloudability data has been synchronized, it also shows adjusted cost for the previous 30 complete days: average daily cost, 30-day total, date range, and last-sync time. Cost fields are also available through Customize Columns.

Select the identity count on the accounts page or the Ideniteis button on the account details page to see how each person receives access. Users can review this account-specific access list

Updating contacts

Account owners can update owner, technical, security, and financial contacts. Enter the new person's institutional email, wait for Entra validation, review the filled name and NetID, and then save. Highlighting identifies a missing or malformed contact and disappears after a valid update.

Write boundary: The Accounts grid is read-only. Contact changes happen only on the detail page, only for an authorized owner or administrator.
