Installation SJMC Licensed MaxQDA

SJMC has purchased a small number of seats for MaxQDA.

The licenses for MaxQDA are paid for by faculty members Sue Robinson and Maya Williams-Fayne. Anyone wishing to take advantage of the license must reach out to either of them to request access.

Once permission is granted you will be able to access the license server through WiscVPN. You must be connected to the campus VPN when you launch MAXQDA. https://it.wisc.edu/services/wiscvpn/

Download MAXQDA

Install the application and launch it. Accept the license and privacy policy. In the first window that pops up select “Connect to your institution’s network license”.

Welcome window

The Server address and port should be ssclicense.ssc.wisc.edu and 21990 respectively. Click the Refresh button and select SJMC-MAXQDA, then click Connect.
