DoIT Shared Tools - GitLab - Delegated Administration of Groups

After completing a needs analysis, schools and divisions can support their own groups and sub-groups in

The Shared Tools team will work with the school/division to identify group owners and a process for managing their GitLab groups. The group owners ensure alignment with known best practices, perform user management and access reviews, create and manage sub-groups and projects.

As needed, the GitLab group owners meet with the Shared Tools team to troubleshoot issues, verify use cases, and discuss new needs. 

Who to Contact?

Any user of can contact the Shared Tools team. At times, users may be directed to the delegated administrators of their school/division GitLab group.
