DoIT Shared Tools - JIRA - Update My Profile
The current version of DoIT JIRA requires Super-Admin permissions to update user profile details.
How to Request a Name and/or Email Address Change
Please email your request to st-help@doit.wisc.edu and include:
- "Update name in JIRA" and/or "Update email address in JIRA" in the subject line
- First and last name of the users(s)
- Include the first and last name(s) and/or email address(es) to be updated.
A JIRA Super Admin will let you know when the update is complete.
Known Error
While it totally and completely makes sense to go into your profile, update your profile and enter your password ... this DOES NOT WORK in this version of JIRA. Entering ANY password (e.g. whether correct or incorrect) in this field will throw the "The password you entered is incorrect" error message. Instead, please follow the instructions above.
