Sex Offender Registry Check
Process
Annually, the Compliance Specialist will review the published Sex Offender Information to ensure students in SMPH clinical programs are not listed. The check will be done in mid September when the University releases its list of students, faculty, and staff found on the sex offender registry.

Verify names provided do not match with students enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Genetic Counselor Studies, and Master of Physician Assistant Studies programs provided in Exxat and CastleBranch. Master of Public Health students will be checked on an as needed basis.

If no matches are found, email the Director of Education Accreditation and Compliance (megan.heneke@wisc.edu) to verify the check has been completed.

Please retain this email as documentation that the annual review was completed.
