What is DocuSign?

DocuSign is a software application that allows people to electronically sign documents. It enables users to upload and send documents, track the status of those documents, and obtain electronic signatures from the parties envolved.

  1. How do I request access to the 21 CFR Part 11 compliant instance of DocuSign?

  3. DocuSign accounts can only be granted to users with email address ending in @wisc.edu 
    1. The State of Wisconsin Department of Administration is the older of the contract with DocuSign and therefore can only be used by those within UW System.
  4. What instance of DocuSign should I request access to?
    1. UW Madison
      1. The generic DocuSign instance utilized by most members of the university.
      2. Sending envelopes does not incur a cost.
      3. This instance is NOT 21 CFR Part 11 compliant.

    1. Select your profile picture on the top right of the home page and observe the drop down window:

    1. Select your profile picture on the top right of the home page.
    2. Select 'Switch Account'
    3. Select the desired instance:

    5. Note: If you do not see the 'Switch Account' option, you only have access to a single instance of DocuSign and will need to request access to other instances.
