OnCore: What if I forget my username or password?
Password reset for users WITH UW-Madison NetID
Most OnCore users who have a NetID will have their OnCore login tied to the single sign-on process (multi-factor authentication/MFA/Duo).

If you receive an error message when entering your username "User is not associated with SAML 2.0 realm":
Contact OnCore Support to get a new account confirmation email, if you should have access.
If your NetID has changed and you would like it updated in the OnCore system, please let us know by contacting OnCore Support Help Desk.
Password reset for users WITHOUT UW-Madison NetID
To reset your OnCore Password, please contact OnCore Support.
Once the OnCore Support Team receives your password reset request they will initiate a password reset in OnCore. You will receive an email with a link to set up a new password.
The email will look like this:
If you are a UW-Madison staff or employee, your user name is your UW-Madison NetID.
Otherwise your user name will usually be the prefix of your email address.
