Reconsent

Reconsent If a subject needs to be re-consented, the Consent Type displays as a link, followed by the letters RR ("Reconsent Required"). The RR will also appear next to subject name in the CRA Console. Do one of the following to remove the Reconsent Requirement:
  • If the reconsent is applicable to the subject and the subjects signs the consent, enter the new consent If the reconsent is applicable to the subject and subject refuses to re-consent, enter the consent with Signed Date = Consent Refused Date and Status of “Refused.” Make a note in the Comments field that the subject refused re-consent.
  • If the re-consent was not applicable for the subject, click on the consent hyperlink and check "Not Applicable."

Once one of these options is completed, the RR will no longer be displayed.
