Adding Printer Code to Canon Printers

Process to remember printer codes on Windows computers
  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Click on "View devices and Printers"
    Control Panel
  3. Find the printer and right click on the printer - Select Printer properties
    Printer Propeties
  4. Go to the Device Settings Tab
    Device Settings
  5. Under Department ID Management click Settings
  6. In the Department ID section put in the printer code used by your department
    Also uncheck "Confirm Department ID/PIN When Printing"
    Department ID

Repeat the process for both the Black and White and Color printer settings.
