How to adjust playback speed within the QuickTime player
Using QuickTime 10
1. From within the QuickTime 10 player, hold down the option(alt) key and left click the fast forward button. Each click of the fast forward button will speed up the playback in increments, 1.1x, 1.2x, 1.3x, etc. and on up to 2x.Using QuickTime Player 7Note: Some video files may not play in newer (MacOS) versions of QuickTime.If you encounter a video that will not play in a newer version of QuickTime:- Download and install QuickTime 7 (earlier version).
