Requesting an Unpaid Appointment

All SMPH unpaid appointment requests should be submitted to SMPH HR Operations.

With the upcoming ATP (Administrative Transformation Program) Workday transition, there will be a temporary blackout period for appointment requests. The blackout period will start May 31, 2025. After this, appointment requests can be submitted, but note the appointment will not be finalized until after the Workday go live mid-July. For immediate questions or concerns, please contact your. HR Operations Coordinator.

March 31 Last day to extend governance relationships up for reappointment for them to convert to Workday.  HR Ops
March 31 Last day to enter new governance relationships into HRS for them to convert to Workday.  HR Ops
May 31 Last day to process and execute Clinical Adjunct Promotion in HRS.  HR Ops
June 28 Last day to enter CBC and/or POT information into HRS-anything after 6/28 will need to be manually tracked and entered into WD after 7/7  HR Ops
July 7 Process any unpaid appointments including Clinical Adjuncts and Honorary with an effective date of 6/29 or later in Workday.  HR Ops
July 12 Last day for a new hire to complete Section 1 in HireRight.
