HRS Transactional Cutover

This KB lists resources and cutover dates related to the Workday implementation that are specific to HRS and employee lifecycle transactions.

Data Audits

HRS data audits (RWA, EJED, Business Location, etc.) will begin in March to ensure that the data transferred to Workday is accurate. HR staff will be working with departments on a number of clean up efforts.

June will mark the slowdown of lifecycle transactions and remote work agreements. HR staff and departments must plan ahead to ensure that all lifecycle transactions avoid the black out dates of 6/15/2025 - 6/28/2025. Likewise, all pending Remote Work Agreements must be fully approved by 6/14/2025. No new RWA's should be entered in HRS with an effective date of June 29, 2025 or later.

Sunsetting HRS

  • 5/31/2025: Expected job end dates (EJED) extending past 6/29/25 must be entered in HRS prior to 5/31/2025
  • 6/14/2025: Deadline to fully approve Remote Work Agreements (RWAs) in HRS. No new RWA's should be entered in HRS. RWA's for 2025-2026 will be completed in Workday. More information regarding Flexible Work Arrangements in Workday will be coming soon.
  • 6/15/2025 - 6/28/2025: HRS Blackout dates, avoid transactions (FTE Changes, supervisor changes, etc.) with these effective dates.
