Minutes for January 14, 2025

UC members present: Bernard-Donals, Jones, Li, Stein

Chair Li called the meeting to order at 4:03 pm.

The University Committee reviewed the senate agenda for February. They discussed a resolution brought forward by Jim Stein. He indicated he wrote the resolution as a way to move forward. He would ask that the University Committee consider whether they would sponsor the resolution. There was discussion about edits to the resolution. Jim will work on revisions, and the University Committee will decide on sponsorship at their next meeting.

The University Committee approved revised annual base adjustment changes for promotions for 2025-2026.

Stein motioned, and it was seconded and approved, to convene in closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85(1)(c) and (f) to discuss waivers and committee appointments at 4:53 pm. One dual-role was approved.

Stein motioned, and it was seconded and approved, to reconvene in open session at 5:01 pm.

Li adjourned the meeting at 5:10 pm.
