Minutes for August 3, 2020

Chair Wolf called the meeting to order at 1:01 pm.

Mark Walters, chief human resources officer, reported that the Office of Human Resources has been working on the flexibilities and accommodation processes for employees who will be required to work on-site. They have had a COVID-19 test reporting protocol since the end of March and are working on a single process that will include students.

University Health Services will automatically receive all results for tests conducted by UW–Madison or reported to Public Health Madison & Dane County. UHS has partnered with DCPH for contact tracing.

The University Committee had a wide-ranging discussion about how to communicate their involvement to the faculty regarding campus reopening. A letter will be sent jointly with UW-Madison academic staff governance to instructors.

Chair Wolf adjourned the meeting at 2:33 pm.
