Session Content

We invite researchers from the School of Human Ecology to attend this IRB Special Topics session and Q&A with two staff members of the Minimal Risk research team at the UW Institutional Review Board (IRB).

Laura Conger and Sherry Holcomb will discuss working with community collaborators, requirements for conducting multi-site research, exempt research vs. non-human subjects research (e.g., evaluation and quality improvement projects), and managing data security and protection for different types of studies.

Who should attend? Faculty, staff, and others at the School of Human Ecology who currently or plan to engage in human subjects research.
