SMPH VPN - How to Connect
This KB will show you step-by-step how to connect to the SMPH VPN. The SMPH VPN allows Surgery users to access both Surgery and UW Health network while using their Surgery-provided device.
- Open Global Protect App and enter smph.vpn.wisc.edu for the portal.
2. Enter your NetID username and password.
3. Enter a 1 to receive a MFA-Duo approval code. Note: You must have the app Duo installed on your mobile device to approve the login.
4. Once approved, you will be successfully connected to the SMPH VPN.
Note:
- The SMPH VPN is ONLY accessible when using a Surgery supported computer.
- Each user must be granted access to the SMPH VPN. Please email help@surgery.wisc.edu for access.
