We have the New Republic Wireless Phones in stock.

You can read all about RW’s new 3.0 program here:

https://community.republicwireless.com/docs/DOC-2912

Please read the whole page through, a lot of info but it will get you knowledgeable about RW and the new program quickly and efficiently.

RW has a new BYOP (bring your own phone) program that is covered in the FAQ, it will not go live until 8/11. We will have the SIM cards for those phones in a few weeks.

ONE BIG CAUTIONARY THING TO KNOW:

Existing RW Customers with Republic 1.0 or 2.0 plans will not be able to transfer their existing number to a new 3.0 phone out of the box! The only way that seems to work at the moment is to first activate the new phone under their existing account with a new number. Then open a help ticket requesting that Republic switch their old number to their new number.

Old Republic 1.0 and 2.0 Phones used CDMA (Sprint).
New Republic 3.0 Phones use GSM (T-Mobile).
Future RW 3.0 plans (3.1?) are to be able to use both GSM and CDMA SIMs, they are hoping for that later this year. No promises though.
