Bucky Backup (Mac) - Stopping and Starting the Client Scheduler
This document explains how to stop and start the Bucky Backup client scheduler for Mac.
Stopping the Bucky Backup Client Scheduler
- Find the IBM Spectrum Protect folder on your computer. Usually located in your Applications folder.
- Select Stop the Client Acceptor Daemon in the window that appears and click OK.
- You will be prompted for the local admin name and password. Enter that information and click OK.
- A window will pop up with "Client Acceptor Daemon successfully stopped". Click OK.
Starting the Bucky Backup Client Scheduler
- Find the IBM Spectrum Protect folder on your computer. Usually located in your Applications folder.
- Open IBM Spectrum Protect Tools for Administrators (not Tivoli Storage Manager).
- Select Start the Client Acceptor Daemon in the window that appears and click OK.
- You will be prompted for the local admin name and password. Enter that information and click OK.
- A window will pop up with "The Client Acceptor Daemon started successfully.". Click OK.
