Update vehicle and license plate information

For UW permit holders. If you have a new vehicle and/or license plate, this document explains how to update your information with Transportation Services.

Update license plate information

Link an active parking permit to a new vehicle with a new license plate, OR an existing vehicle with a new license plate.

  1. Using your NetID or UW Health login credentials, log into the eBusiness parking portal.

  2. Select VEHICLES from the menu at the top of the page.

  3. To add a new vehicle, click Add Vehicle.

  4. Enter the new vehicle and new license plate information, OR enter the same vehicle information as your current vehicle with new license place information. Then click Next.

  5. Click Permits > View Your Permits at the menu at the top of the page.

  6. On the "View Your Account Permits" page, click the permit number with an ACTIVE status.

  7. On the Your Permit Details" page, click Add Vehicles to Permit.

  8. On the "Add Vehicle to Your Permit" page, select the new vehicle information and click Add the selected vehicle.

  9. To remove outdated vehicle information, click the old license plate number and select Delete.
