Printing (macOS) - Secure Printing to a Canon Copier
How to print using secure print to a Canon copier.
Follow these steps when printing a document to enable secure print for that print job.
- Begin printing your document.
- If you are presented with the macOS system print dialog (below), proceed to step 3. Otherwise, open that dialog using an available option depending on your app. For example, when printing from:
- Acrobat: Click Printer... near the bottom left, then Yes.
- Chrome: Expand More settings then scroll down and select Print using system dialog...
- Firefox: Select Print using the system dialog...
- In the "Print" window, ensure you have selected the Canon copier as your printer.
- Scroll down and expand Printer Options.
- Select Special Features.
- Change the "Job Processing" selection to Secured Print and click OK.
- Click Print.
- When prompted, enter a name for the print job, then click OK.
- Depending on your app, you may need to click Print one more time.

To return to normal printing, follow the same steps but select Print during step 6.
