Departmental IT Asset Reports
How to access departmental IT asset reports through Halo.
In order to access reports as described in this article, you must be granted permission by Technical Support staff. Please contact Technical Support if you do not have access and believe you should.
Accessing a Report
- Log in to the Halo customer portal using your normal NetID credentials.
- In the upper-right, select My Reports.
- Select one of the available reports to view it.
- If desired, use the Export to Excel or Export to CSV buttons to download a spreadsheet version of the report.
Available Reports
The following reports are currently available:
- Active Devices: All active desktops, laptops, and tablets in your unit.
- End-of-life Devices: All active desktops, laptops, and tablets in your unit that have exceeded their recommended retirement date.
- Recently Retired Devices: Desktop, laptops, and tablets in your unit that have been retired in the past year.
- Active Network Printers: All active network printers in your unit.
Information in these reports is up-to-date with the records used by Technical Support and limited to the assets in your unit as identified in Halo. If you identify an error or have a question, please contact Technical Support to open a ticket.
