How to use the WEI 1130 Room

 

Powering the System On:

Tap on the touchscreen sitting on the table to wake the system.

Powering the System Off:

The system will automatically go to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Using this room as a video conference room with Zoom

Dialing a Zoom Room

  1. Select the “Place a Call” button then touch the Contacts section, every WEI & GLBRC Room will be listed.
  2. Tap on the virtual meeting room you want to dial into then tap on Call.
  3. If you want to dial into a personal Zoom Room that is not configured in the contacts list, select the Zoom - Personal Room entry. After connecting you will be prompted to enter the Meeting ID and passcode. Enter that information to get connected to the room!

 

How to share your screen for Zoom

Windows (Wireless):

Press “Windows”+ P, then select “Duplicate”.
Once you select WEI1120-Poly, your screen will be displayed.

MacOS (Wireless):

Hold down the Option key then press F2. Click on the + symbol to the right of Built-In Display. Select WEI1120-Poly, then enter 4-digit that is displayed on the TV screen when prompted.

Wired:

There’s an HDMI cable at the front of the table. You can plug your laptop into the cable, within a minute your screen will be displayed.

Adjusting the volume

  1. After you’ve dialed into a Zoom Room the volume icon will be displayed on the touchscreen.
  2. You can adjust the volume by clicking on the volume icon. Move the slider left to reduce the volume or right to increase the volume.

Using this room as a conference room

  1. You can share your computer screen on the televisions by clicking Content on the touchscreen, then follow the steps listed above to in the “How to share your screen for Zoom” to start sharing.
  2. To stop sharing on either one or both televisions you can click on the – (minus) symbol on the touchscreen from within the Content window.
