How can I connect to the WEI/GLBRC VPN from my Mac?

Steps to connec to the WEI/GLBRC VPN for MacOS

The WEI IT department at UW provides a Virtual Private Network (VPN) service for connecting to hosted resources from outside the UW network.  This allows any member who has a WEI/GLBRC account to access services that were previously only available at UW.

How Does It Work?

The VPN service uses a client program running on your Windows, Macintosh, iOS Device (iPhone or iPad) or Linux computer to establish a secure tunnel over the internet to the WEI/GLBRC network at UW.  While the client program is running, you can access any WEI/GLBRC resources hosted at UW.

The GlobalProtect VPN client currently only supports ipv4 addresses, ipv6 IP addresses are not supported at this time.
