UW Theme Classic - Beginners training options

WiscWeb provides beginner training for users of WordPress using the UW-Madison UW Theme.

This document outlines steps related to UW Theme Classic. This theme will be decommissioned in WiscWeb at the end of December 2026. At that time, this documentation will go away. If you are looking for how to do this process in the new theme, please visit the UW Theme 2.0 website.

WiscWeb provides introductory training to users of the UW Theme via a canvas training course. Note that this training course is for the UW Theme Classic, and will be removed when the classic theme is retired at an undetermined date in the future. Please register using your campus NetID.

Beyond the beginner training available, please reach out to our team at help@doit.wisc.edu to ask any questions, or schedule Office Hours with a member of our team for some guidance on specific topics or questions.
