Certificates - Undergraduate - FAQ: Who is eligible to earn an undergraduate certificate?
Undergraduate certificates are available to degree-seeking UW-Madison undergraduates; they are offered at an undergraduate level of content and intensity are designed to complement undergraduate degree/majors.
Undergraduate certificates may be open to University Special (non-degree seeking) students who hold a bachelor's degree if provisions for these students are planned and approved by program faculty, school/college academic planning council and the University Academic Planning Council.
Please refer to your program in Lumen Programs to discern if your certificate program is eligible to serve Special students.
