UW Veterinary Care has been the leader in animal health in Wisconsin since its opening in 1983. With the largest group of board-certified specialists, quality 24/7 care, and access to the latest treatments, they are dedicated to advancing the field of veterinary medicine with compassionate care and new discoveries. Specialty areas include food animal medicine, shelter medicine, zoological medicine, and many others. Each year 87 students are accepted into the four-year program leading to a Doctor of Vetrinary Medicine (DVM) degree. 

**The Clinic Appointment Line is the number to give to people calling about scheduling small/large animal appointments at the UW Veterinary Clinic.

Provides primary veterinary medical care and referral for both small and large animals and special species. Partial payment required when animal is admitted, with balance of payment due upon discharge of animal.

Vaccination clinics are now available Monday-Friday mornings; call for times.

Emergency services are available 24/7
