Harvest Grains / Buraka

Harvest Grains is closed for the fall 2019 & spring 2020 semester. In its place is a visiting restaurant Buraka for the meantime.

Buraka is a long-time fixture of the Madison dining scene, serving traditional Ethiopian cuisine. Markos Regassa, the owner and chef, is also a UW Graduate. The Williamson Street-based, Ethiopian restaurant will serve a limited menu of customer favorites, including coconut curry chicken, dorowot, chicken peanut stew, vegetarian peanut stew and misirwot.

The Harvest Grains guest vendor program, featuring Buraka, will be open Monday-Friday from 11am until 2:30pm, or at which time supplies run out. The operation will use our biodegradable disposals, and all Wiscard discounts will be accepted. The menu is listed below.
