The SPD Trial Division represents defendants charged with a criminal offense. The defendant must meet eligibility criteria to be eligible for services. There is a fee for representation and the amount depends upon the case type. If a person is found not eligible for SPD representation, they are given the paperwork to petition the court for a court appointed attorney.

Individuals should contact the trial office first.
