UW-Madison Google Workspace - Working with Multiple Google Accounts Simultaneously
Working with multiple Google Workspace accounts simultaneously can be confusing. This document describes different methods to manage multiple Google Workspace accounts (ie., personal, school, work).
Use Chrome with multiple profiles (Recommended)
Using a different Chrome profile for each Google account you are signing in to is recommended to provide an easier distinction between which account you are working in.
Sign in to multiple accounts at once
Signing in to the multiple accounts under a single Chrome profile is not recommended due to the more likely possibility of working in the incorrect account (i.e. uploading a file to a personal My Drive instead of a UW-Madison Google Workspace My Drive).
