Billing Information

Each call is charged directly to the number from which it is placed. Your department receives a monthly listing of all long distance calls made from each telephone. A public record is made of each call, noting whether the State Telephone System (accessed by dialing 8) or the commercial toll network (accessed by dialing 9) was used. (NOTE: Please see new dialing instructions for international calling.) Be sure to completely disconnect from a long distance call before making another call, or charges will continue for the first call. If you hear an interrupted dial tone (3 short beeps), you have not disconnected the first call. Hang up and try again.
