Cisco VoIP - Moving a phone
Procedures for moving a Cisco VoIP telephone to a new location
Cisco VoIP telephones store the account information on the telephone. This means that if you are changing offices, you can bring your phone with you to your new office as you would do with your computer. All your setting and telephone number(s) will remain the same. If you have a local IT or have a contract with DoIT Departmental Support (or AIMS?), they can make sure that the data jack in your new office is ready for VoIP. If you do not have a local IT department, use this form to enable a live network jack for VoIP. This will be the same network jack that you will be using for your computer.
