Data Documentation for PET Imaging Freeze (PiB)
Freeze:
This documentation pertains to the Freeze 2024_November of the longitudinal PET data (11CPIB) for the ADRC & WRAP cohorts, as collected by the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.
Counts:
This imaging dataset includes 1418 PiB scans on 743 participants (209 ADRC; 534 WRAP).
There are 1379 PiB SUVR results on 730 participants (204 ADRC; 526 WRAP; 372 with one scan, 209 with two scans, 47 with three scans, and 102 with four+ scans; 489 female; 72 URG; 57 MCI and 20 Dementia at first visit; 72 MCI and 23 Dementia at last visit; 1 participant(s) are aged 90+, of those not: mean first and last ages of 66.1 and 68.9, respectively; mean first and last days since baseline of 3271 and 4279, respectively).
There are 1369 PiB DVR results on 729 participants (209 ADRC; 520 WRAP; 374 with one scan; 210 with two scans, 44 with three scans, and 101 with four+ scans; 486 female; 68 URG; 60 MCI and 19 Dementia at first visit; 74 MCI and 22 Dementia at last visit; 1 participant(s) are aged 90+, of those not: mean first and last ages of 66.1 and 68.8, respectively; mean first and last days since baseline of 3269 and 4270, respectively).
There are 1397 PiB visual rating results on 740 participants (209 ADRC; 531 WRAP; 379 with one scan, 212 with two scans, 45 with three scans, and 104 with four+ scans; 494 female; 72 URG; 61 MCI and 20 Dementia at first visit; 76 MCI and 23 Dementia at last visit; 1 participant(s) are aged 90+, of those not: mean first and last ages of 66.1 and 68.9, respectively; mean first and last days since baseline of 3265 and 4267, respectively).

<subject label> represents the subject's study identifier.
<session label> represents the subject's integer age at the time of the PET scan.
DERIVED VARIABLES:
Within pib_dvr_aal.tsv
- pib_index: cortical DVR average (ROIs: angular gyrus, anterior cingulate gyrus, posterior cingulate gyrus, frontal medial orbital gyrus, precuneus, supramarginal gyrus, middle temporal gyrus, superior temporal gyrus
Within pib_suvr_aal.tsv
- centiloid: ratio of mean signal in cerebellum VOI (reference region) and cortical VOI (signal volume), transformed to 0-100 scale (0 is the average of a younger cohort with healthy brains. 100 is the average of an AD cohort).
Within pib_visual_ratings.tsv
- rating: PiB visual rating (a rating of 3 is clearly Positive; 0, 1, or 2 is Negative)
